Austin Jepson is a fine young man with non-speaking autism. In spite of that challenge, he has learned how to type and is the author of a beautiful book of poetry and short-stories, called Passing By The Moon.
Aaron Jepson is an author of two books. His first is a memoir, called ‘Running with Faith’ about how he faced the challenge of living with a disability through cultivating his faith in God and accomplished the monumental task of running his first marathon. The second is a work of fiction, entitled “I Never Get Lost in the Woods.” It is about a young adult woman with autism and limited verbal language who witnesses a heinous crime and gets caught in the crosshairs of a human trafficking crime ring as she tries to find a way to communicate with others what she saw, before it is too late. It is a fascinating and eye-opening look into the mind of an individual with autism and limited ability to speak, very much like the author himself. Besides writing, Aaron enjoys hiking (has climbed thirteen of Colorado 14ers), running (has done five marathons), biking, advocating on his blogsite (aaronjepson.com), and generally just being outside.
