Diane Freed is a published author and illustrator. As a young child, this local Colorado resident, created her own books for family and friends. Now, Diane is the author of “Off the Short Leash”, a book of whimsical poems and thoughtful prose. Her work is included in “Last Saturday Poets Anthology”, and a short story, based on a true event, has been accepted in an anthology coming out this Summer. She has launched a new YouTube channel called “Coffee with a Poet”, where she interviews Poets and Musicians and shares their journeys.
Diane enjoys event planning with Last Saturday Poets, performing at Open Mics around town, and recording in the studio. She spends her days creating commissioned portraits, writing, and is currently working on her third book.
