Ben Roy
If you aren’t familiar with Ben Roy, he’s been taking comedy audiences by storm since 2004, bringing an unparalleled energy and unique voice to the stage. Often compared to Lewis Black or Bill Hicks due to his passionate, ranting approach, Roy has a style that is definitively his own.
Roy cut his comedic teeth in Denver at the world famous Comedy Works. Since then, Ben has been selected to perform at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival (for New Faces, The Nasty Show, and his own hour show), Just For Laughs Toronto, Just For Laughs Chicago, The New York Comedy Festival, Austin’s South by Southwest festival (where he was an official invitee for both music and comedy in the same year), and many more.
Roy has been featured on HBO’s Funny as Hell series; as well as on the Comedy Central shows Adam DeVine’s House Party, Corporate, @midnight, This Is Not Happening, and TruTV’s Talk Show The Game Show. Ben has also released five stand-up comedy albums and was listed as one of Variety’s Top 10 Comics to Watch. In 2023 his first streaming stand up special, ‘HYENA’, was released on YouTube by 800LB Gorilla Media. That same year NPR listed ‘HYENA’ as one of their Top Specials Of 2023. From that success, ‘HYENA’ was licensed by HULU and Disney+ and began streaming on their platforms in July of 2024. Ben will be recording his sixth album at the world famous Comedy Works Downtown in January 2026.
Andrew Orvendahl
Andrew Orvedahl started stand-up in 2003. In addition to performing regularly at his home club, Comedy Works in Denver, Orvedahl has toured the US, and performed at the Aspen, Las Vegas, Seattle, Great American, Bridgetown, and High Plains Comedy Festivals, and was part of the “New Faces” Showcase at Montreal Just for Laughs in 2013.
In 2013, Orvedahl released his comedy album Hit The Dick Lights as a dual release with fellow Grawlix member Adam Cayton-Holland. Holland’s album I Don’t Know If I Happy shares similar album art, was recorded on the same date at the same theater (Denver’s historic Bug Theatre) as Orvedahl’s, and both were released on Illegal Pete’s Greater Than Collective label.
In 2020, Orvedahl released his album “Alexa, Play Creed” on Helium Comedy Records.
Orvedahl has appeared on “NickMom Night Out” and “Last Comic Standing”, and on October 13, 2014, made his debut performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.
